How to help...

It's not about the Thank-you's, or even a pat on the back. It's about making a difference in the life of a child....one binky at a time. Children and teens sometimes need a reminder that somebody, somewhere cares enough about them to make a beautiful blanket and give to them, that's theirs to keep forever and ever.

Just about anybody can either make a Binky or help to make a Binky. If you have a loving heart and willing hands, we could really use your help!

Binkies can be quilted, or crochet'd or knit, or made of fleece with the edges tied. They should be soft and cozy and cuddley. They should also be able to withstand many washings. We have master seamstresses and beginners alike and some are great teachers who would love to show you how to make a Binky.

We gratefully accept, with open arms, any donations of supplies with which we can make our Binkies.....fabric, fleece, batting, yarn, rotary cutters & blades, and/or thread. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be given upon request.

Sizes of Binkies range from a 20" square for a preemie or stillborn baby, all the way up to a 50" x62" blanket for a teenager. No blanket is ever turned away as long as it's made with love.
